Beschreibung:
Alta Badia - Dolomites, is the starting point for the Alpine Guides’ High Route. The itinerary was designed for those wishing to see some of the most suggestive Dolomites peaks over a short period of time.
The varied landscape reveals worlds within a world, all markedly distinctive. The uniqueness of the Bastionata of Sas dla Crusc contrasts with the primeval calm of Alpe di Fanes, the trenches of Lagazuoi prepare the entrance to the wonderful kingdom of the Tofane and the resting place at Civetta reminds us of how small and insignificant man is compared to nature. The route is not extremely demanding and can be tried by recent converts to trekking with, however, good walking experience.
The convenient and welcome mountain huts mean you can move with a light rucksack.
While trekking from one refuge to another, crossing the Dolomite valleys we enjoy sunrises and sunsets from the most captivating points of observation: The high mountain alpine lodges. In them you can enjoy of half-board service and overnight stay.
The route combines the beauty of the Dolomites region with its cultural and historical highlights. We will be passing through the areas in where you’ll find remnants of the First World War, like canons and galleries built inside the mountains.
Due to its low altitude difference (maximum 800/900 meters in altitude in one day) and to the low degree of difficulty, the hike is ideal also for not trained hikers.
